As a general dentist, it is imperative to understand the principles of implant dentistry and bone grafting so you can treatment plan it for your patients. Implant dentistry is here to stay and is the ideal way to replace missing teeth. Almost 20% of all US adults are missing all their teeth according to the NIH.This course is an extensive over view of these disciplines allowing you to include these modalities into your practice.

This course is applicable to all implant systems and is not meant to "sell" one product. The in depth detail given in this course and many cases presented will show you what is possible and allow you to speak to your patients with confidence. Through being at the Implant Center at Tischler Dental, the attendee can observe first hand the clinical and administrative principles that occurs. If you are looking to perform these modalities yourself this is also a great step towards that. If you already perform these modalities then this course will only further your studies. If you would like to be able to speak to your patients with more confidence about dental implants and work better with a surgical doctor, this course will allow that.

As a general dentist, Dr. Tischler conveys these principles in a very approachable way, and brings it from the perspective of the prosthetic end result.

The integration of implant dentistry into today’s practice yields profitability, predictability, and restoration of patient’s oral health to a level far above other modes of treatment. Dr. Michael Tischler will discuss the clinical and scientific aspects of implants, including treatment planning strategies, patient evaluation, and a clinician’s perspective on the successful inclusion of implants into a dental practice. Principles are tied in with multiple case presentations. This is a full day multimedia Power Point presentation that includes multiple videos.
