Since 1971, Tischler Dental has been located in Woodstock, New York. To better fulfill our practice philosophy, we opened a new 10,000 square foot dental treatment center situated on nine scenic acres in the Hudson Valley with views of the majestic Catskill Mountains. Our state-of-the-art facility has 12 dental treatment rooms, each with large windows to capture our beautiful surroundings. Included in these treatment rooms is a surgical suite consisting of two surgical areas that will allow dental implant, bone grafting, periodontal surgery, sedation, and other surgical procedures to be performed in a separate area. We have one of the only dedicated implant surgical suites with it's own CT machine in the Hudson Valley. This is the commitment Michael has to implant dentistry. We are continually improving upon our state-of-the-art cosmetic dental center so that we may offer our patients the latest, most innovative technologies in a comfortable, serene environment. We believe that the more relaxed you are, the more effectively we can provide you with the high-quality dental health care you deserve.
As you enter our facility, the soothing sound of the waterfalls outside will help to settle any anxiety you may be feeling. When weather permits, you can relax on our outdoor patio before your appointment. The essence of the natural beauty surrounding our practice is reflected in the warmth of our office décor. An accomplished photographer, the landscape photography of Dr. Tischler is on display throughout the office. Our large reception area provides privacy, allowing you to check in and out of the office with ease and comfort.
Fresh, purified air is continually being pumped through our cosmetic dental center through seven zones of air purification using Lifebreath™ technology. The flooring throughout the facility is made of hardwood or other solid material creating a safe and sterile environment for our patients, especially those with allergies. We also select the materials we use in our treatments according to their biocompatibility and quality, basing our decisions on nationally recognized product guides and researchers. We offer treatments covering nearly all areas of dentistry at our cosmetic dental center in the Hudson Valley, including cosmetic dentistry, family dentistry, sedation dentistry, acupuncture with dental treatment, dental implant surgery and restoration, gum surgery, and much more. Some treatment can be performed with conscious sedation to ease the fears of anxious patients. We treat our patients using the latest state-of-the-art technologies available, ensuring that they receive service of only the highest quality.
We dedicate three separate treatment rooms to our hygiene patients. As part of our integrative care philosophy, we encourage patients to visit us twice a year for monitoring and teeth cleanings to ensure oral and total body health through healthy teeth and gums. For moderate to advanced gum disease, we utilize the Periolase™ system from Millennium Technologies, which allows us to provide treatment without the need for invasive surgery. We are one of the few dental offices certified to use this FDA-approved technology.
Our cosmetic dental treatment center has its own portrait studio, which permits us to capture before-and-after photographs of our cosmetic dentistry patients. The portrait studio is equipped with professional lighting and backdrops. Through creating an ideal photographic image for our patients, we can show them how they currently look and how they will look after a dental cosmetic makeover. We take cosmetic dentistry to the next level by providing a correctly lit image so that our patients can make a true assessment of their esthetic situation.
Tischler Dental is dedicated to the advancement of dentistry. Equipped for in-office courses for general and cosmetic dentists, our cosmetic dental center has a multimedia suite equipped for video and abundant room for observation of surgeries.

Tischler Dental and our cosmetic dental treatment center have won numerous awards and accolades in the Hudson Valley and beyond. In 2007, Tischler Dental was awarded two prestigious awards. The first was a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by Congressman Maurice Hinchey. This award recognizes “outstanding and invaluable service to the community.” The second was a Proclamation Award for Significant Contributions to the Quality of Life awarded by Senator William J. Larkin, Jr. These awards reflect the commitment and hard work with which we serve our community and our patients.
Our building has also been lauded by local organizations and New York State officials. In 2007, Tischler Dental was recognized for Excellence in Dental Office Design in the National Dental Office Design Competition organized by Matsco/Dental Economics and ADA Dental Advantage. New York State Assemblymen Kevin Cahill and Peter D. Lopez have also awarded Tischler Dental Certificates of Merit for the New Building Project of the Year. In 2007, Senator John Banacic awarded Tischler Dental a Certificate of Merit for the best new building project of the year award in Ulster County. We are particularly proud of these awards as they are not usually given to a dental office.
